I've got a friend who has an old DAV-S300.
He's recently splashed out on a 37" Samsung LCD, and the Sony 360 BD has caught his eye at under £100.
He had a chat with me, and I told him he could and should use the BD for all his disc spinning duties, leaving the DAV purely as an amp.
I've checked the specs and I think I've found that the DAV has a single optical input for his intended 360 BD..... So far so good...
..... But. I'm getting conflicting information regarding any analogue inputs on the back. Ideally, he'd run some phonos from his new telly to allow him to use the DAV for TV sound too. Unfortunately, I'm not in the position to check his DAV myself, and he's not the most clued up with tech stuff. He didn't have his old TV hooked up to for TV sound either, so I was wondering if any of you guys had had one of these old HCIABs a few years ago and could,fill us in.
