It does, but you do know that you can't see it, right?

Surely, being a mere digital device, an Apple computer is the same as any other? :)

Let's think: new Windows laptop or 2nd-hand 'old' Mac; new Fiat or 2nd-hand 'old' VW; new Cambridge Azur or 2nd-hand 'old' Sugden; Susan Boyle's recent version of Wild Horses or the Stones' 'old' version, umm...?

My Macbook is dead.

My VW just failed its MOT.

My Cambridge Azur is rather nice thanksverymuch.

OK, you got me.

Sit in front of a mirror and you can check your good self out, at the same time as having an inward chuckle everytime you catch the beautifully glowing logo.

I'll get me coat.

Hi Clare.. Yes, but them one's and zeros are so much cooler :)

So to paraphrase Orwell:

"All digital products are equal, but some are more equal than others" :)
This is like the parrallel lines meet in infinity one. I'm not able for them paradoxes :?

Yeah, OK, VW's a bad example (these days). So: new Fiat or old 911? And speaking of old 911s...

Anyone else been watching The Bridge - good, innit?

(The last episode included an MBP, with its logo glowing in the dark.)

I've had one of the white macbooks for over four years now. Still on the original OS install (albeit with snow leopard upgrading it). Still plenty fast for what I need it for (itunes, web browsing, spotify etc), and battery still lasts for ages. Would happily use it for another four years. I've had exceptional service from my local apple store too where I bought it. They brought out a new model a day after I bought it, and I was able to take mine back and swap it absolutely no questions asked. They even chopped up the box i was returning so i could still claim my printer rebate without problems. The palmrest cracked after over 3 years of daily use. The store replaced it and the screen surround, all within an hour of dropping it off. Free of charge (ok, so it's a known issue, but to be able to drop it off in person and pick it up within an hour, can't complain!)
