Old geezers...

Who'd have thought it eh?
Good to see some old names here.
As for the trophies, message counts etc. - don't seem to be much logic to it.
I've got 123 'messages' and 4590 points??? - means nothing to me - as a non-competitive person I could do without all that stuff.

Yep, wasn't too sure what all that meant myself, you can post acres of cr@p and still get a trophy I guess.....

Hi,
Has anyone noticed that they have restored the forum from a date just before they announced that it was closing.

Does anyone remember the personal insults flying about right at the end of August 2018 - from afar, it was funny. 😊

Regards,
Shadders.

Welcome back, ok let's see who's back here.

I am a new old geezer! Been downloading some of the recommended albums from Tidal including Tom Wait which is a new pleasure.

I have been serious audiophile since the glory days of vinyl 1980s. The Tidal Masters series recordings rival or equal SACD.

I also use blue tooth 5.0 streaming from a Galaxy Tab A (S-pen) octa core 512 gig through Audioengine b1 good cables 1975 Marantz 1060 1975 KEF 104 (two sets.)

The synergy in this system is heaven on earth. It's like IMAX 3D for my ears. One set of the 104s is unpowered. They provide baffling and add two extra passive reflectors and perhaps the un powered woofers help spread the sound stage as well.
