NTSC or PAL

We use PAL here - and throughout Europe. NTSC is mainly used in North America, Japan (for historic reasons), etc.

It's mot likely your player won't play your new disc because it carries the wrong region code - UK and Europe is Region 2, whereas the US is Region 2.

Thanks for that i thought we were PAL. the disc will be returned to the company as its there fault they sent me a NTSC disc.
the disc says it all regions but just not for PAL. Incompetene eh

No idea why a modern player into a modern TV shouldn't play an all-region NTSC disc fine. Is the player set up to play in PAL, or auto video output? And what's the TV?
