Listening to a Tullio De Piscoppo drum solo yesterday at moderate-ish (about 1/3rd on the dial) volume when one channel stopped working, followed by wisps of smoke and the smell of what I assume is a fried capacitor in my Sugden.

Anyway, had a nice chat with a bloke in Sugden's and it has gone back to them in the post for an out of warranty repair today. The problem is that for the next couple of weeks all I will have left to listen to music on is a small DAB radio, a laptop with tinny speakers or a small TV with naff sound where I can pick up freeview radio stations. I'm starting to go cold turkey already :wall:

One of the reasons I have a separate headphone setup (headphone amp/DAC, source and a couple of sets of cans)

Two weeks? Fire up the iPod. Wouldn't consider buying anything in between times.
