Hi there,
This is probably a very unusual request for a forum such as this but I’d be grateful if someone could help me.
I work in what can be described as a noisy office environment with lots of background conversational noise and some occasional music. I’m looking for a pair of noise-cancelling headphones – not to play music through – but to block out the background noises around me to aid my own concentration – so their musical quality is of no interest to me; simply their ability to block out noise. I’m hoping to spend less than £100 but I would consider spending more if necessary. I also wear glasses when working, so any headphones I choose would need to allow this.
I have also had a look at ear ‘defenders’ which are intended for use with heavy machinery and tried on a couple of cheaper pairs. They seem to block out noise fairly well – but are simply not comfortable enough to wear for hours on end while concentrating on work.
Many thanks in advance,
Mark
