After many months of cajoling the Mrs into letting me have my chosen plasma I finally got my way at the beginning of August. For the first 2 days everything was going swimmingly then all of a sudden I couldn't get any picture via the scarts or hdmi. I contacted DIRECT TVS & guess what? no reply. I emailed ,phoned , left contact details but all to no avail. NOTHING. I had to get on to PANASONIC UK who gave me a local firm to contact under the sets warranty who assessed that the A- board needed replacing. Fair enough. I have been waiting 2 months now as Panasonic haven't sent the part yet. They have agreed to replace the set for a new one (watch this space, no phonecall from them yet). I would like to say that customer services at DIRECT TVS is an absolute joke. They have just taken my cash & done a runner. I am so angry at being duped with their slogan BEST PRICES, BEST SERVICE. Wrong on both counts.
