Let us know, we can give you more valuable advice.

But in another thread you wrote that you already had the Oberon 5, so are you not happy with them, or is this a dead topic now?

I’m hoping you bought them regardless of where they were listed!

Yes i bought them - then i read in another thread a member suggested that i my amp would allow me to upgrade somewhat speaker wise . So although they sound good -i had to add a sub to boost the bass frequencies .
I was reading reviews to get an idea as to what to upgrade to and noticed that the Dali 's were no longer featured in reviews or at least the best speakers in their group any longer .
Im considering the Kef R3 Metas now - i will get down to Acoustica in Chester to have a demo . Has anyone got any other suggestions to demo also in the Kef price range . ?

Demo whatever you can as that's an awkward sized room you have.

Going off on a tangent, I was in a bar a couple of years back where they played a track by The Hu, one of the friends I was with asked who it was. When I told him he explained in no uncertain terms that it wasn't The Who.

Back on topic, I would agree with jjbomber, audition some speakers to see what you like. His list of recommendations looks good. Of the ones I have heard I would lean towards the Triangle. But that's just personal taste.

A bit late in the day?

Hi Robert, sorry banging away on the keyboard for over an hour has made me a little dysletic 😉

I don't give much credence to publications like WHF, yes sure, they're skilled at their craft and they operate on abstract bias, the flavour of the month, white noise to sell their monthly rag.
Trust your ears and weigh up the pros as well as the cons.

If it helps, I have the Oberon 3's, little brother of No: 5, it is a mighty fine speaker. I can only assume the Oberon 5's have the same characteristics and have better lower frequency extension. Oberons are open but laid back, treble is like Irish coffee with lots of froth. Nice
