No audio output from new Sony KDL 46 EX 723

hi paul sorry so late in joining this forum, firstly could you tell me where you bought the tv from and what questions you had asked about connectivity, secondly there is no reason your old set up should not work with your new , scart is the last option thats we only provide one now with new tv , if you can give me the lay out of what you are trying to connect your tv with ps3, hifi, surround sound etc, ill tell you what you need to do ,
