NINE HDMI INPUTS?

It's the whole backwards compatibility thing that's annoying me ,no new Console has ever been totally backwards compatible but I'm not even a big gamer and I'm going to have 4 bloody consoles!

nobodys making me buy them but it's nonsense having 4.

i think I would run my TiVo through my oppo tho.

I wouldn't worry too much about backwards compatability - from previous experience being able to play games on both generations is only really a concern during the transition period while waiting for a body of titles to be released on the new platforms. You'd be surprised how quickly last gen titles start to look/feel dated compared to next gen games, and once decent new titles are coming through regularly on the next gen I doubt my 360 will be doing much more than gathering dust apart from the odd nostalgic halo-fest
