Newbie questiong, Micromega stage 2

Hi!

I am totally new to the world of hifi audio. I want a system for large room ( around 600 sq ft)

I have a question regarding Micromega stage 2 which I got from my uncle. Any idea what to do with it, should I try to sell it or pair it with something ( what?) . I understood it is a good Cd player having natural quality sound but quite old so what should I do?

Otherwise what system would you recommend. Will Denon DM38 suit to the large room? Or should I go to the higher budget level?

The stage 2 is still a very good player and you would need to spend a fair bit to beat it.
Can be a bit tempermental as did all the stage series.
