I just got given a Dual 604 which I plan to add to my set up. But the felt on the platter has degraded and could do with replacing. Any advice on that? Also is there any other maintenence that it could/should do with?

There are plenty of felt platters on eBay, but try and get one not designed for DJs as they won't grip the record properly - they are designed to slip after all!
As its a direct drive (I believe), as long as the platter spins freely (indicating that the bearing is lubricated correctly) and the auto-return works, maybe just change the stylus for a new one?
