No, thats not it.
My name is Tim, 54 yo, always had a big love for hifi.
Had a proper set in the 90's, when I was able to pay for the stuff I saw as a kid, but when the kids were born and the house to small; it went away and bought a 'home-cinema' ....... some JVC (first Sony) with a few small satellite speakers and a subwoofer that did shake, but not in a good way.

So, now was the time, the JVC had to go. Kids are adults now, house is bigger and money was available to do it proper.

For some reason, I always had a big love for Wharfedale. Don't know why; I never even heard them for real. Trying them in a store is a no-go here in the Netherlands.
So, I bought them anyway 😉 Well, the company is there for almost 100 years; how bad can they be?
I am not sorry about that; what a proper sound!

I spend weeks to figure out, or: nittpick what I wanted, how I wanted it and drive the wife crazy.
But now; she is happy with the set and don't want anything else anymore 🙂

The set I ended up with:
- Denon AVR-X2800h (no dab, no coverage here, internetradio is working)
- Wharfedale Diamond 12.4 front standers
- Wharfedale Diamond 12.C center
- Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 surround
- Wharfedale WH-D8 subwoofer
I 'had' to have all real copper thick wire, gold plated connectors, best hdmi I could find, even some Nasa approved internet cable lets say 😉

So, now is the time to join the forum, now 'I'm back'. 🙂

you mean you cant post in the main forum like HIFI ? try changing your email and password see if that works password first then if not diffrent email .

There is really nothing wrong in my post, I am sure, but keep getting this:
