new tv samsung or lg

hi , iam looking too upgrade my tv , i was looking at the samsung 55 mu8000 ad the lg 55 sj950v, they are both around the same price, i mainly watch tv movies and football, if anyone has one of these can i have some opinions on what you might suggest which one i should go for. cheers

I wouldn't buy a toaster from LG. Every LG product I've ever had has gone t#ts up within weeks.

Our oldest Samsung TV, by comparison, is now about six years old and working perfectly.

My LG TV lasted 2 years and a month. Just out of warranty but within a Chapter 75. Power supply packed up. My Panasonic plasma from 2003 is still going strong.
