Hello

Looking to get a new TV to replce my old panny CRT (anyone wanna buy it :) )

ive been looking at the panasonic range

TX L37G15

TX P37X10

TX P42G10

TX P42X10

All have great reviews, but what is the better set out of these?

Viewing distance is around 7 foot, probably going to wall mount it as well, the feed will be Sky + so only SD, but possible upgrade to sky HD nxt yr sometime.

anyhelp would be great.

why not go for the 42g10 ? run another coaxial cable from the sky dish , and you can watch bbc , itv hd , champions league , world cup , fa cup , wimbledon , rugby , golf , and various movies and nature documentaries all in hd ,for free, also a great tv for blurays , dvds , can be got now for under £700 .....

the x10 is hd ready or 720p , the g10 is full hd or 1080p , the sd is better if the tv is not doing the upscaling , for example , my humax foxsat hd box is sending the signal to my tv at 1080i , its doing the upscaling , not the tv ,i have the humax as my irish g10 doesnt have freesat , in your case , you could set your sky box to output at 1080i (presuming it can , the newer boxs should ) for sd , and use the pannys built in freesat for hd ... in the short term the x10s sd picture may be a little better , but sky hd and blurays wont look as good should you go down that road in the future ...
