Can I suggest a new topic forum called ARGUMENTS.

It could have 3 sub-forums

OPPO BDP-83n

Cables

Other Arguments

Remember the monty python sketch about paying for a 10 minute argument. it would be like an extension on that

Then when people wish to argue its much simpler to find the threads and
the other forums can just be used for constructive and helpful comments. Just a thought.

Jest must be a language made up of words in both matter and anti-matter, where any concept can be reversed, the words brought together and huge explosions ensue.

It's a great idea! The "All Out War" sub-forum.

You could grade threads:

Punch-Ups
Pitch Battles
Thermonuclear War

listen as far a cables since the arguments are standardised cant we just have your sql server spew out all the probable posts as soon as it sees the word cable in the header then lock the thread automatically

saves so much time and avoids stressing the more sensitive forumites

Wouldn't it be possible to speed up the cable arguments by having some kind of drop down list of standard comments to select from?

Better still, is there not possible that the cable threads can be fully automated in some way?

I agree, when Cable Lover comes on I can just press one button, and small electrodes (silver plated braid of course) zoom in on his temples and turn him into a believer. He then waxes lyrical about his new Chordost Komodo Dragon mains lead.
