I currently have a complete cyrus system. I have the cd xt signature, dac xp+ with psx r attached and 2 x mono x200 power amps. I use the chord co £600 anthem xlr balanced cables for the pre/power connections, i have the new chord co £410 signature digital tuned array coax for the cd xt signature and chord co epic twin speaker cable into my spendor a5's. I am thinking of getting a pair of pmc twenty 23's or maybe even 24's. I have also looked at some other various speakers from pro ac and dynaudio but have been highly recommended the 23's by my dealer and i think they sound great but was wondering if anyone had any other recommendations around that sort of budget up to about £ 3500 at the very most.

Harbeth or Sonus faber.

Both brands work well with Cyrus (yes, I've tried them) and both deliver hugely satisfying sound.

If you have space, the Harbeth SHL5s will come in well under budget and are utterly lovely. As for Sonus faber, a pair of Cremona Auditor Ms: IMO they're even better than the Harbies. OK, they're standmounts and they need to be placed well away from arear wall.

Good luck!

Matt
