I too thought 'wow' when I first saw the pic you pasted in above. Very tasty in light oak or maple or whatever that is. (I thought DM 2/6's only came in black or dark rosewood plastic veneers.)
Now I can see that your photo is for a different speaker.
Here is the DM 2/6 in all of it's glorious plastic finish...

bassy with natural mid and sweet treble, ime. need a lot of room around them and usually a juicy amp.

As Craig said. They do need a good amp, something that can deal with a 4ohm load as amps like the Cyrus 6vs/6vs2 etc run out of steam with them.
MattSPL:Always been interested in Dynaudio but was always afraid of tthe rear bass port.

Dynaudio is an excellent brand. I have liked their speakers for almost twenty years ever since i heard the original Consequence model at the 1991 Heathrow show. They are simply rich, detailed and dynamic in their presentation.
The DM 2/6's are excellent speakers are would work well with the 8000p as there is more than juice under the bonnet.
