New Sound System for New Flat - HELP NEEDED!!

Hi

I am moving into a new flat and will be purchasing a new 50 inch LCD TV. However my question relates to sound and what I should go for? Ideally I would like TV to use the sound but also to stream music from the internet (Spotify etc) and also I would like to listen to it in the bedroom and kitchen, all of which are about 15 foot by 10 foot.

I understand my options would be a simple solution like a soundbar/surround sound package and a seperate Sonos multi-room system.

Is there anything that would be better ? Can I stream music to a surround sound system in the living room and also to something in the bedroom?

Any help would be appreciated!!

Hi take a look at the new range of Onkyo av receivers just released. Spotify ready streaming, zones allowing for playback in other rooms. This receiver would need a speaker package but depends on budget of course.

Others maybe able to elaborate in more detail on such equipment.

Yes and yes(ish) tv should have digital out which connects to digital in on amp or a connection from sky/virgin HDMI or digital if you have neither into amp, xbox or gaystation, bluray etc all to amp via one of the said connections. Spotify requires Internet connection via Ethernet or wireless plus a subscription.
