New Sky update picture quality HD channels not as good

Has anybody noticed since the new sky update that the HD picture quality is not as sharp/detailed as before?

I have found that the picture quality always seems to reduce just before new HD channels are added. I notice blocky artifacts in the graduation of light emiting from say a wall lamp or candle in a dark scene. Once the picture quality is restored there always seems to be new channels. My picture is OK at the minute but I haven't got the new menu screen as yet.

I agree. Just watched World war z. Sky +d from yesterday afternoon. I was underwhelmed by the pq. Perhaps it's the film recording??
