New occupation suggestion - Eye Frame Fitter Professional (New word required to describe this job)

I am looking for optical eyeglasses that are ultra-light with premium materials and have the upper rim extended above the eyebrows, unlike traditional frames that fit below or in line with the eyebrows. This makes the viewing field unobstructed and clean. And without any nose pads. When will such eyeframes that fit above the eyebrows be released and become mainstream by designer eyeglass manufacturers?

Also, a new occupation could be brought in to create more jobs, who measure and manufacture frames to the facial measurements of individuals for a perfect fit. So, upon receiving an eye prescription from an optician, the individual goes to the frame fitter (name of the job required) to get the eyeframe of the perfect size, rather than standard available sizes, and chooses the desired shape, especially for eyeglasses. Who measures the individual's face with new digital technologies to map and make a custom frame tailored to that person. This could be at an exclusive designer eyewear brand store or in-house at the optician's place, selling their bespoke frames.

It will be exciting to have the facial measurements taken and in shortlisting eye frame designs from a brand catalogue, only to be manufactured to the individual's size fit.

Now that 3D tailored eyeframes have been launched by the Japanese company HOYA Vision Yunika for mapping the individual’s face to take measurements of the frame to design and build 3D printed eyeframes with the most perfect fit.

And as that Europeans are masters, or even at a higher doctorate level, in Emotional Sciences with practices active globally.

When will other major designers brands adopt this face measurement technology and use it to manufacture their own eyewear using acetate or mixed materials that fit above the eye brows to the individual’s face measurements ? And even partner with premium lens manufacturer ZEISS to sell the whole eyewear solutions to customers.

Like, there would be a Hugo Boss store in partnership with ZEISS having the face measurements tech and other lens development technologies to make frames, using acetate or mixed materials to choose from the brand’s eyewear catalog , that fit above the eyebrows to the individual’s face measurements.

Zeiss also make excellent camera lenses, it captures the reflective light but cheap designs, if you stay in the sun to long will set fire to your eyebrows, best avoided. 😉

You'd better ask those manufacturers, nobody here is going to know.
I have contacted Hugo Boss Eyewear regarding this.
It would be great if Hugo Boss launches a new eyewear store to measure, make and fit eyewear with lenses.
In partnership with Zeiss for both eyeglasses and sunglasses as well.
With eye frames that fit comfortably on the face and that the upper rim extends above the eye brows for the most clean and unobtrusive vision wearing eye frames.

Without lenses eyewear wouldn’t even exist other than tinted sunglasses.

Lenses are amongst the greatest invention of all time, including prescription lenses.

Yes, binoculars and telescopes, long use in the sun, should be avoided as it will burn the eyes like a solar cooker.

And also, even in 2025, why are eyewear marketing videos shot from a bottom view of eye level?
It’s because eyewear that extends above eyebrows are going to be launched very soon, isn’t it? ☺️🤩

Perhaps you need to find out where Dennis Taylor gets his glasses.

And that’s why individual’s measurements for eyeframes that fit above eye brows should be made mainstream.

Dennis’s frame size is well more than what’s required. 🤣😜

A little bit above the eye brow bone is the most perfect and comfortable fit. And can only be measured individually for the perfect fit. 😊

Shave your eyebrows off, problem solved!
If you shave off your eyebrows, external dirt and dust particles gets into the eyes easily, where eye brows trap them most of the times, unlike head hair that does exceptionally well with less than 6 mm or bald and even fully waxed body.
And also sunglasses aren’t adapt friendly to the eyes, whilst having to adjust after being worn. So, everyone mostly limits their use anyways, with exceptions of a lighter tint sunglasses but even that doesn’t adapt well after taking them off.

Dennis eyewear was made specifically for playing snooker, it's unlikely to take off in the population

Yes, even for snooker players a little bit above the eyebrows is a great fit, and will soon become mainstream for the rest of the population.
The frame size of what Dennis is wearing is he and the product designers being wittingly The perfect BRITISH! ☺️🤩

It will not become mainstream as it has no benefit, simply makes for a heavier spectacle that nobody wants

People are already sick of wearing eye frames in level or below the eyes, which is unknowingly very annoying.
Frames that fit above the eye brows are the most perfect fit for the cleanest and clearest vision with eye frames.

With eye frames being above the eye brows provides the most clean and unobtrusive vision in wearing external vision aid. Including high prescription lenses for fewer people.

i think you might have a long wait.... 🙂
Anything above the eyebrow bone is best. All that’s needed is the frame size must be asymmetrical from the centre of the pupil for aesthetic looks.
And so only personalised eye frames are the solution to it to make it according to the individual’s nose profile.
