Very annoying indeed

The frame’s top to bottom distance from the wearer’s centre of the pupil is asymmetrical on those standard eye frames.

I'd add the cautionary note that the matters that you consider really important seem to be things that the wider world is unlikely to be bothered about - at all.

Major breathing difficulties with possible of nervous breakdown in wearing those glasses, really! The frames supported in two critical air intake points. It’s already banned.
The butterfly frame shape is a thing, though. 😊🤩

You have an industry raking in billions, prescription and fashion wise - they're not going to make any drastic changes to what they do, whether it's a good thing or not.
There comes in a new job role of a nose profiler who makes frames, around the individual’s nose profile, that’s asymmetrical from the center of the pupil and that extends above the eyebrows.

Dennis eyewear was made specifically for playing snooker, it's unlikely to take off in the population
Sorry I couldn't resist: Chaz and Dave Snooker Loopy. The verse about and featuring Dennis

Now our friend Den, hours he spent
Down the snooker hall
On the old green baize his mates seem amazed
The skills with a snooker ball
But them long shots, he never ever got
Why? The old mind boggles
But nowadays he pots the lot
"Cause I wear these goggles"

God knows why eye frames of standard sizes are even sold to customers, these days.
It’s got to be tailored to match the individual’s nose profile and the frame’s top to bottom asymmetric size from the centre of the pupil that extends above the eye brows. 😊

It’s got to be tailored to match the individual’s nose profile and the frame’s top to bottom symmetric size from the centre of the pupil that extends above the eye brows. 😊
Why???
Exactly what benefit is any wearer going to get with frames that extend above eyebrows?
Totally unnecessary and will only mean extra weight.
Apologies for extending this thread even further......

As standard frame sizes won’t stay above the eyebrows always as the nose bridge will either be close or distant from the exact size and contour, for the most clean and unobstructed vision.
And there will be lots of options to choose from multiple brand’s frame designs to then be manufactured to the exact individual’s size of the chosen frame model.

This makes absolutely no sense, are you a bot?
Straight onto my Ignore list you go....

If you are so confident, put your money where your mouth is, get designing and bring your idea to market. Do thorough market research first though because, you don't want to waste money on something that won't sell...
It’s already known to everyone.
No, I am not going to start anything new or do any designing or sort. That, all those top European eye wear manufacturers will do it.

Why are you asking me to do it?

A couple of European companies has designed frames for this technology
Companies like Hoya sell glasses.
If this tech is going to work, they expand their business by selling/leasing the scanner, print the frames using 3D printer.
Interesting business case.

Still can't imagine many customers are going to want the lenses, to extend above their eyebrows.

Will do it???
How do you know this?
Why haven't they done it already?
That’s why I’m just eagerly waiting for it to be launched soon.
I’m just an all-day spectacle wearer and want an eyeglass frame that extends above the eyebrow bone, from top European manufacturers in personalised eyewear. 😊
