New Headphones upto £150

Hi Everyone

I'm a firstimer and looking for a pair of headphones upto £150. I mostly listen to folk/indie (Bon Iver, Mumford and Sons & Laura Marling etc, but I also like Electronic Rock (Crystal Castles, Justice & Salem etc) so I'd like something thats good all round

Looking around I've seen the Grado 80 or 125 are very highly rated would these suit my musical tastes? Or is there a better alternative? I also don't have to worry about any noise leakage if that changes things

I mostly listen to music through my ipod but do have an old sony amp and cd player to use

So long as you are sure about the foam pads, which some people find fine and others uncomfortable, the Grados are an excellent choice. You can buy flat pads if you do not like the foam bowls the headphones come with. They are easy to drive and work fine out of an ipod.

The Grados are indeed a good option. You might be able to get some Sennheiser HD600s (used) for your budget, too.
