Hello everyone. I need to purchase a new 5 metre HDMI cable as my current one is bent tightly to fit into the socket. I get the picture dropping out and occasional noise on screen. I don't want an HDMI thread to spiral into chaos like many others I have read in the forums, but can people please share their experience of pre-made right angled cables versus a standard HDMI with a right angled adaptor. Did you have any issues or notice any differences at all? Thanks for your time. ;-)

I use a That Cable swivel adapter, and performs exactly as you would expect any cable/adapter to that conforms to spec.

daveh75 and Crossie - thanks for your input. Think I shall get a standard HDMI with adaptor rather than a right-angled HDMI. Also has the benefit of offering me more choice I guess. Thanks again chaps. Have a good one!

Thanks for posting this ... as it is something i will be buying in the next couple of weeks. Anyone noticed any difference from the cheap £2 ones to the expensive £15 ones?
