I think it's about time i changed my cd player ,but their are so many cd players to choose from ?

Reading the reviews on the marantz cd6002 'whitch sounds like a good player for the money but not sure if it would be right with the kit i allready have although any dedicated cd player should sound better than my yamaha recorder.

could any body please point me in the right direction.

How about the new Marantz CD5003? I'm not sure if a new CDP would make a significant difference though.

can i ask have you considered the obvoius the nad c542 (£330) cd player im using one with a nad c352 and its great...

Agreed. The NAD C542 would be the natural choice and would 'fit in' well with the rest of your system.

Alternatively, the C525BEE or C521BEE if your budget doesn't stretch to the 542.
