New Blu Ray player as Transport?

I am looking for a new BLu Ray player (to replace my DMP BD30) but would like it to also replace my CD transport (Tag Mclaren CD20R). I will fund with the sale of both and add £200 ish to the pot.

So a budget of £400-£500.

I like the look of the Marantz players but any other's that would perform better?

Have a look at the Denon 2500BT They were going for about the £400 mark a while ago, there night be some still svailable somewhere.

It has had great reviews and a few on here have one, including me. IMO it's a great machine and built like the proverbial heavey toilet.
