New Arcam DAC soon.

I noticed this WHF news report today...

I went to flickr to search for any better photos of it from Bristol Show-goers and found one photo of the mock-up Arcam DAC case that shows one of the input options is 'wireless'.

All for £299.

Hmmmm.

I hope they do one in black, and I hope it retains built in wireless when it reaches final production.

I think that at £299 it should sell very well.

Looks neat. 'Premium' established brand. Only a bit more expensive than Beresford/CA and (if it has wireless like the selector on the prototype suggests) will bring down the box count for those contemplating adding Airport Express.

A DAC is on my future shopping list, and being an Arcam fan, I would be very interested how this compares with the "Old Guard" of Beresfords and DacMagics....
