Been reading up on the new 2011 onkyo av recievers and the panasonics blu ray players and must admit the specs look good . the new onkyos have a fresher look and seem to be priced well to . im liking the 609 !

Anyone else seen the new models due , or what you guys got your eye on ? was going to post a link or copy but not sure if allowed ?

I am really wondering why companies have to release a new receiver models every year specially when there is no such technological gap/improvement that justifyies it. This is like Christmast time, it has to come once a year..... This is becoming like the software companies, the main and in most cases only reason why they release the new versions is to force people to upgrade and give them the feeling that what they have is old technology....
