Hello All, i'm completely new to the site and was hoping someone can offer me some advise please?
I'm after a super slim smart tv to wall mount in the bedroom. Probably in the 40" region and assume (cos I don't know) that because it won't be linked to sky and only have freeview with ariel that it'll need to have built in wifi?
I don't have a whole heap to spend, probably in the region of £500 - not sure if this is realistic?
I know you can get the ultra slim wall mounts but this doesn't create the overall effect of a flush to the wall TV if the back is bulky.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks Rach

I'd pop into my local John Lewis, or look online

The Samsung LED TV's are very slim, and Samsung also do a slim wall mount specifically for their TV's

I've looked online for ages but it's really hard to tell the width of the back

Have also been into currys but they only have the latest (and therefore most expensive models)

I was wondering if anyone has a slim tv they could recommend?

Thanks

The samsung f7000 and f8000 are about 3.5 cm in depth, but there also £740 and £900 for the 40 inch models. Something more in your price range is the samsung f6510 at 4.7 cm's which costs £589

no idea if it's any good. Trouble is a smart tv that is also thin isn't going to be cheap.

hope that helps

I think you will find that their tv's are last years models, manufactures start to bring out new tv's in february, march, april and beyond, however you are correct in saying that curry's are expensive.

Thanks so much, i'll check out those samsung models :)

no worries

Just to note though the F7000 has a bulky middle part, where the samsung logo is, that sticks out when wall mounted. I saw it today for the first time and it looked rather silly to be honest
