need advice on first stereo setup

Hi guys.

i'm currently looking at a pair of 685 S2 plus the PV1D subwoofer plus stand it comes to around 1800£

Maybe pair it with the new Cambridge CX60 amp and hook it up with apple TV for streaming

I'm just wondering am I making the the right speaker choice for the money that i'm spending?

Am i better off buying a set of towers and leave out the sub? (I do enjoy watching HD movies also..)

Any comments are greatly appreciated 🙂

Hi, If your room is large enough and you like the Bowers and Wilkins, Imo, I would go for the larger floorstanders and forget the sub. e.g. 683 s2
