Neat Iota upgrade?

Currently running a pair of neat iota's with JBL subwoofer on a CA Evo 150 and happy with it but have come into some funds and have an itch to look at upgrading speakers.
Issue is that is small room and speakers on stands on desktop, close to corners and no other option where they can sit. Is it worth considering replacements, would like slightly more beefy speakers if they can work close to walls and corners.

Get a new bike or a subscription to Amazon Music Unlimited: "slightly more beefy speakers" have never been worth it, and from your neat ones for other wall- and corner-friendly ones is especially doubtful. Trialing returnables would be the only way I'd scratch this, and if you have the spare time, that could be fun if not fruitful. Maybe re-impressing yourself and others on how wise your last selection was would be sufficient and a good learning experience.

As you *must* keep that desktop placement you are severely limited with decent speakers. Otherwise I’d have said get the floorstanding Iotas, especially now they seem to be phasing them out.

The only alternative I can think of that is designed for close wall placement is the Epos here…https://www.whathifi.com/reviews/epos-es-7n
Check with the tape measure before getting too keen, as I fear they’ll be too big.

Dali menuete se speakers are a fantastic near field option to consider....I use them in my small summer house with a rel t-zero sub....wheather they are a worthwhile upgrade over the iota's is up for debate. and I'd looked for a pre loved pair from the auction site..that's what I did anyway.....and not dissatisfied with the performance and beautiful aesthetics from these little shoebox sized monitors.
