Name one product that should be included in your HiFi setup?

I'm still using physical media--LP for jazz and CD for everything else.
(I like the nostalgic vibe of jazz on analog vinyl, especially with a snifter of brandy.)
I also still use a terrestrial radio tuner as well.

Obviously, then, what I most need is a modern music streamer, but I'm an old dog who has trouble with new tricks.
Streaming seems too complicated for a luddite like me. I only use the 1990 flip phone functions on my cell phone.
Pretty bad, I admit.

My late neighbor introduced me to a group of fellows who meet several times a year to share single malts from the motherlands of Ireland and Scotland.

Away from all the obvious things like speakers, amps and the like, I'd go with knowing the kind of sound that you like rather than the gear you think you want. When you know how you like to hear stuff, you're halfway there.

Unless I went for the complete system set up which I know will never happen I would say since my wife let me buy the Waxwing DSP phono at £462 I can honestly say that I have reach the point where I'm loving the whole set up I have for a long time in the future ... Except buying more records🎧🎼

Totally agree with you 🙂 there was a time when my brother was trying to convince me that CDs were the way to go 😏 so i went in that direction for 10 yrs or so but then when Vinyl records started to get talked about I realised that once arecord man always a record man 👍 so about 5yrs ago I made that decision that I loved my collection & have never looked back & with the cost of albums back in the 70s/80s there is not really that much difference with the cost of today.. & by looking at your collection I can see that you would also totally agree with me 🙂👍.
