Hi Everyone, looking for a new amp upgrade and seen these on offer.

Is it a good buy? Is the 3 much better? Saving is over £1,000

I want to connect up to CD, Streamer, Sky Q, Turntable, Blu-Ray - I have an AV amp to handle the surround and extra connections required, so would prefer an amp that will link with the Denon AV to handle the front speakers and then i can run the CD, Streamer and Turntable direct to the amp for high end stereo when i want it for pure CD/LP/Stream music.

Currently using a Cyrus 6a amp connected to a Denon AVR-X3300W

Thanks - what would i notice in presentation? As long as it's not too high in the treble and too airy?
I think punch and articulate is the sound i'm looking for without the treble issue mentioned above.

I went for the Cyrus originally because i loved my Cyrus 1 which is still mint and used as one of my other systems and like the way Cyrus positioned the instrument / vocals.

biggest difference with the 3 is the inclusion of an onboard phono stage, which is said to be very usable indeed.
As a past naim user, naim has a smooth punchy presentation with some air up top but not to much. I call it a toe tapping sound. Easy to listen too for hours

Just purchased Elipson Prestige Facet 34F Speakers (see my other post on these with pic)

I have seen the SN2 on offer at £2275

Thanks for your reply 👍

"I think punch and articulate is the sound i'm looking for without the treble issue" IME, the SN2 does off this presentation.

Fwiw, we had the SN2 at a lot less than this. Still a good price though.
