Tino you are spot on.

No it's not going to replace separate components it's physically impossible. But by the very nature of the original OP question this may not be the most important priority.

Indeed: Hi-fi, IMO, is as much about priorities and expectation as it is about component quality and system synergy.

I think it's nonsense to say the mu-so isn't comparable to other soundbar systems. The Sony SRS X9 has a similar driver setup. The Canton DM50 has received excellent reviews. Also the Monitor Audio ASB. Yamaha is known for producing soundbars that can project sound around a room and seem to be well received. Just because it has the Naim badge doesn't mean it is superior without comparison.

well I have 2 Marantz systems and a naim system and just purchased a box that's plays music (muso).

if you get chance in between cleaning records, changing cables, and adjusting speakers then go have a listen.

OK my main naim system ant going no where but shooting Swedish house Mafia at my pretty box via my iphone has my foot tapping, that's good enough for me. I personally have never head a box like it.

Edit; Donna summer, I feel love 12inch, yep foot still tapping...........room full of music from box....!

Probably my second favourite Giorgio Moroder song, Phil Oakey's 'Together in Electric Dreams' just shades it.

Everyone is entitled to their opionion but there is just no contest between Oakley and Summer. I Feel Love was a game changer, but then I suspect that I'm a little older than you.

Quite amazing when you consider IFL was originally released as a B side track.
