I'm thinking of investing into the Naim 5i, this would replace using my Onkyo 875 AV Amplifier for stereo sound from my iPod.

I will be using my Arcam iRdock connected by Chord Chrimson interconnect. Will this be a superb upgrade or is it not really going to sound any better than my current set up, My stereo speakers will be B&W 603 S3 floorstanders.

Cheers

I would have thought that it would be a huge upgrade, but a home demo should confirm one way or the other.

One hell of a difference mate.. AV amps are terrible for 2 ch stereo music playback, you will never look back once you listen to the Naim!

I agree. This should be a big difference moving to a stereo amp for stereo duties instead of using your AV amp.

My question would be what stereo amp :)
