NAD, Denon, Marantz or Rotel CD Player

I'm looking for a CD player in the £250 - 300 range due to the sudden death of my old Rotel model (it's the only one I've ever owned , so I guess it's done quite well !). I have a Rotel RA-04 so my local shop has suggested that Rotel RCD06 is the ideal partner. It does not look as good 'on paper' as the Denon DCD 700 AE, the NADC542CD or the Marantz CD6002

The speakers are KEF Concertos .. v old but still producing the goods

Can anyone offer any thoughts on these combinations or offer others ?

The Marantz would be our firm favourite from that list. I'd definitely steer clear of the RCD-06 - a rare weakness in an otherwise strong Rotel line-up.
