Nad 245 Bee

Is What HiFi going to test this 4 channel amplifier ? I'm interested because the choice of this amp or the higher powered 275Bee is kind of leaving me in a state of quandary . Would it be worth to buy the 245 for just stereo mode - hence 70 watt - but another mag claims it may be a waste unless your upgrading and is not as effective than the 245's 35 watt p/ch . The 275 's power would more than sufficient enough to power my 100 watt Totem Sttaf unless I upgrade the speakers . I don't want to do that because of cost and I feel my Sttafs are good with to small subs engineering it

So the choice is not using the 4 channel amp and use it for stereo mode or purchase the brutish 275 ? Thanks .

I just reviewed the back of the 245 and to have the 70 w option , I would have to connect 2 sets of cable out of the Nad pre/amp to the 245's a and b channels . That would eliminate one sub and would just running the a channel at 35w do the trick ?

245 is starting to look more appealing , maybe .
