Myryad Mi or Primare cdi10

Has anyone heard either of these as I can't get the wife into seperates,she may well go for one of these. I have read some reveiws and she has seen there photo's and likes the idea!! any help before I buy blind would help. All music but classical.

Thanks Andy I have read these and some others.I wanted a cyrus 8cdse and prevs/8power with Gb1i's. We both liked the sound,but the other half is tight.This is the best compromise!! But has anyone heard either.Thanks Chebby Uniti looks good but would need speaker upgrade at the same time,not enough funds for that.

Those Missions M70i speakers of yours would be fine with a naimuniti for a good while yet, so long as they are still working ok.

They may well suprise you.

Hey Nick. Despite being a huge fan of Primare, I think if you want something OT-friendly the Myryad is the way to go - the Primare is a bit of a battleship - certainly chunkier than the Cyrus pairing (though I'm with her on them being ugly

)

Cheb's right about the NaimUniti though, it's another option - much more expensive but more versatile, albeit less cute.

All speakers are up to the job unless they're broken, but any of the systems you mention would benefit from a speaker upgrade at some point when budget allows - just might mean if you get a more expensive system that it might take longer before you can afford new speakers. They'll all handle speakers up to a grand or more, if you ask me.

Unless you specifically want a streaming option though, I think I'd stick with the Myryad. You can always add streaming with an airport express or squeezebox if you fancy it later.
