My PX80, Sky + and Freesat

Planning on buying Freesat tonight and receiving HD channels via my SKY dish. Is there a diffference between freesat from Sky and simply connecting a freesat box up to SKY myself? Will I get HD channels from Freesat if connecting it to the Sky dish or so I have to get a separate dish for Freesat to get HD channels/picture quality? Grateful for any advice asap before I go and spend my hard earned cash....

If you are keeping your SKY box, you need to run an extra coax cable from the dish to the Freesat box.

Wouldn't you also need to get a dual output LNB for the dish ?

I think that both boxes need to able to control the LNB polarisation, if you still want each box to be able to access all channels (?)
