Woke up for work this morning, within 20 minutes my phone crashed twice (first time it has done this), but was working when I left the house.

Went to use the phone 2 hours later, won't power on, won't do anything. Doesn't even display the charging LED when connected.

Not good for a phone that's not even 2 months old. :shame:

Let's see what Carphone Warhouse can do for me.

Big Chris,I had the same thing happen to me with HTC once. The cure for that was to remove the Battery and sim card for at least 3 hrs. Then reinstall both and put on charge.Try it, theres nothing to loose.

And despite posts like these Apple products are considered overpriced and their users derided as fanboys. I have a 6-year-old macbook, which is prehistoric for a laptop, still going strong as an iTunes server (full-bitrate files of course) and an 8-year-old iPod mini with language courses on it still in daily use. Buy cheap(er) you buy twice! Or at least have the hassle of chasing guarantees.

I'd rather they were able to fix mine. I'd lose a lot of contacts otherwise.

Just sync all your contacts with Google account. All future upgrades of your phone will pull all contacts from Google into it (whether Android, iOS or Windows). Hopefully CPW will repair. Vodafone simply swaps for another phone (they've never repaired in my experience).

Only problem is the One X has a built-in battery which can't be removed!:wall:

Try holding down the power button and volume down button together for a few seconds and see whether the phone wakes up.

You're not alone it seems:

It remained dead for 3 days, then, as if by some biblical miracle, it returned to life....... For 4 days... then it died again.:wall:

C.W have sent it off for warranty repair and given me a loan phone (cheap Samsung thingy with two functions, phone & text). Here's hoping they don't have it for too long.

Hope you get it sorted out Big Man. Had my HTC Sensation for a year and gave it to my mum when I upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S3. Never had any issues with it so never had to experience HTC Customer Services or their warranty procedures.

One thing I noticed about HTC - the genuine original accessories are all rubbish. I remember buying the windscreen mount, car charger and desktop dock / cradle - all pants. I couldn't believe how expensive the windscreen mount was given that it was the worst one I'd ever owned.
