Some lovely little Eclipse TD-508s
Not sounding too bad considering the centre of the cones were pushed in, and gently pulled out with a screw, after a vaccum cleaner did not work.
Sounding very good with acoustic music, Nils Lofgren - Live Acousitc was very good last night! Obviously never going to be bass or high volume monsters.
Being run direct from the amp, no filter or crossover components at all in the way 8) Supprising as they lack any BSC which means there must be some designed into the drivers bass response and port combination as they do not sound too bass light.
Its an interesting comparison with the 104/2s that have possibly one of the more complicated crossover networks, but they are also a helll of a lot more senstive at around 92db/2m/2.83v (95dB/1m/2.83v??) compared to the Eclipses that are around 79.5dB/1m/1w!!! Competing with the Kolts which are around 80dB/1m/1w!

Its nice to have some full-range-drivers back in the house again!
Probably be relegated to the second/third system with some sort of all-in-one for the bedroom like the Denon DM range.
