Musical fidelity M1 - HPA opinions?

Has anyone auditioned these?

Always worth a listen for yourself if you can get in somewhere - good alternatives to listen to for comparison are Graham Slee Solo SRG and/or Solo Ultra Linear and Lehmann Linear - all great headphone amps.

For what headphones modata? The HPA is a fine h/amp and we are always demoing it with £1000 HD800's.

I've got the Denon 5000s and Sennheiser 650s.

Also, what dac would I want if I got the musical fidelity or the graham slees?

In this case I would recommend the M1 HPA and the M1 DAC. Perfect combination with those phones. 🙂

I auditioned the Musical Fidelity HPA today with both headphones. Not really impressed. I like the Headroom Micro DAC and Amp ($300 each) better, IMHO.

Just wondering what the graham slee solo/novo sound like...
