Multimedia station - NAS

Hi All,

Hope you can help me out..

I am looking for a device where I can store all my movies (all kind of format) and play them on my TV. I guess some kind of multimedia station, with a harddrive. I would also like to be able to transfer files, such as movies and music wirelessly from my mac to the device.

Would anyone be able to recommend a device which is ok, and not cost a fortune.

I've got myself a Qnap TS-210 turbo with 2x 2TB HD (2xbay for HD)last month.. cost approx £250.

easy to set-up (even for a noob like myself)

this is what I wrote just yesterday. If your TV has DLNA support, then any nas device with a dlna server will do. As a bonus, you can use your TV remote to browse your movies and select what you want to watch. A downside is that some exotic formats might not be playable, because TVs only support most common movie formats. Otherwise, look for network media players.
