want to get apocalypse now from the states but not if my sony BDPs370 will play it , does anyone know a handset code to do this .

Is it a DVD or a blu-ray disc?

If it's a DVD, then it's possible to make it multiregion with something like this.

If it's a blu-ray disc, Apocalypse Now is region free according to this. So you shouldn't have problems playing it.
