Multi region blu-ray

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone thought it was worth getting a player that could play multiregion blu-ray discs, are there many differences with US discs compared to UK ones?

i may be wrong but i dont think there are any multiregion blu ray players available yet, and have not heard of any becoming availible in the near future ..

A few sites offer this, but it currently doubles the price of your player. Ouch!
My advice would be to wait until (like DVD did originally) prices for this come down as numbers increase. There are enough sites now that'll tell you if a US disc is not region locked, and as I understand it, only two studios region lock as a matter of course anyway (Fox and Lion's Gate).
The UK censor is less predisposed to slashing material, and most titles make it over here anyway, so the only real reason to buy US is price. For the moment. But when it takes off......
