MOTD in HD on BBC

|( Not sure what anyone else thought, but I thought the picture quality on Match of the Day in HD was VERY poor last night! Looks like the adaptive quality is not working.......on Sky for clarity.

Aren't most (perhaps all) of the matches shown in upscaled SD? Moreover, the quality (or bitrate) has led many to question whether BBC HD channels can be justifiably described as high definition. Still, sport on BBC HD looks better than the awful blocking you'd experience on any number of SD channels.

Not sure but thet certainly looked SD - perhaps upscaled! Daveh75 will confirm. The bitrate is very poor by the looks of it......

ESPN HD channel seems to look better than the others for me.

I have the Sky Sports channels through Virgin Media not in HD as of yet but I think their sd picture isn't that great.

I never saw the BBC HD this weekend.
