I am a fan of David Mitchell and was watching his soapbox podcast, his rant of the week being naming babies. The podcast was taking place in a computer generated baby ward scene with a few real life props to make it look better. At this point i noticed the hospital monitors and they were actually What Looks like an audiolab cd and amp combo and a audio research amp!
I could be wrong but if anyone is bored and wants to confirm what they are I am sure you can still get the episode. It made me chuckle anyway (simple things...).

Not particularly amusing, but I have an old Akai integrated and a broken Arcam AVR stood on their ends with a Technics cassette deck sat on top, being used as a bedside table.

Currently listening to: Black Sabbath - Vol.4

Hi,

Not amusing but I used a pair of Wharfedale Sheltons as small tables for years and managed to sell them as tables for a tenner a few years later, made nice plant stands too.
