mordaunt short aviano 1 amplifier

Hi all

I currently have the mordaunt short aviano 1 speakers paired up with an old technics su x320 amplifier

I am fairly happy with the sound but feel it is a little bright and trebly and lacks deeper punch bass

Any thoughts on this amplifier??

Would like to get a new amp , something budget from marantz or denon probably

Would it be worth it and would there be a noticeable sound quality difference. I listen to mainly pop music with some more vocal and midrange as well

I used a Marantz PM6003 with Aviano 1s for a while and it worked well, so I'd expect the PM6005 to be a good partner. Also worth trying the Denon PMA720AE if you want to save yourself £80-£100.
