Mordaunt MS 3.30 amp match advice required

Hi all

I have a pair of MS 3.30 speakers that i have been powering with a Technics SU-V450 amp.. I LOVE this match, unfortunately the amp is on it's last legs and keeps cutting out (i have had it for at over 10 years).

Can anyone recommend a suitable amp that has the effortless drive and clarity of the technics? Is it possible for under £300?

Musical preferences prog rock or prog house generally

Personally, I'd have the Technics repaired or look for another one. They seem to come up fairly regularly on Ebay, but it might not even be a difficult job to have it repaired. I've had an amp from that same range and I don't think you'll find anything under £300 today to match it.

Thought as much..

I've seen a few going for around the £100 mark, can't help thinking i might have the same issue with buying a second hand one though.

Any idea of a suitable repair shop in Leeds by any chance?! How do you know who to trust with your kit?!
