Monitor Audio RX6 ok with Moon i.5 AMP ?

Hi,

I recently purchased an ex-demo Moon i.5 amp for a sweet price (700 EUR), I thought the offer was too good to ignore.When replacing my old NAD C315 BEE with the Moon on my MA BR5 speaker set I noticed a big improvement in sound (more than I expected given the price difference).

My question is the following:

Would the Simaudio Moon i.5 ok with the MA RX6 ? Anybody heard this setup ? I would love to purchase them because I also received a 15% discount from a retailer and I've heard that the sonic improvement is significant vs the BR5.Unfortunately the dealer does not have Moon AMPs and the thing is rather hard to carry 🙂

Yes, should be fine. One of our long standing members has a Moon i-1 powering RS6s before upgrading the speakers to Vienna Acoustics. Likewise I heard, last year, Moon i-1 with my RS6s and Totem Arros - absolutely fine.
